What: Employer Tours

Show off your Workamping Environment with an Employer Tour!

An Employer Tour is a mini profile to show off your Workamping environment. Type in a brief description of your location and facilities. Upload five photos showing off where your Workampers will be working and include captions to describe the working and/or living environment. Tours are online 24/7 and available to our Workamper subscribers. This is a supplement to the advertising of your Workamping opportunities, therefore no contact information is necessary.

Employers who subscribe with an EmployerPlus or EmployerPlus Electronic subscription can have an active Employer Tour while their subscription is current.

How to Find the Tour Builder:

Log in to the Workamper Employers site and then click on the Employer Tours tab. From the drop down menu, you can select to Create/Edit your Employer Tour, View your Employer Tour to see how it will look to employers, and View Employer Tour List to see the full list of Employer Tours.

How to Create/Edit Your Tour:

The first section of the Tour Builder will be some general info - this is for a description of your property and the environment of the Workampers there. Please do not include any contact info, the Workampers will get that from your ad you have running. The Contact name and Email that you provide on this section is only for administrative purposes and will not show on the public view of your Tour. Once you have this section filled out, click on the Proceed to Step 2 button.

In the next step you will upload your logo. Click on the Browse button and find your logo file wherever it is saved at on your computer. Double click on the file name when you find it and that should place some text in the box that appears next to the Browse button. Then click on the Upload Logo Image button. You should see your logo appear on the page. If you are satisfied and wish to continue, click on the HERE link to keep the image and move to the next section.

The third section is where you can upload photos and add captions. Your photos need to be in jpeg format, and the upload tool will automatically re-size them for quick viewing. Click on image 1 to go to the upload/edit page. Click Browse to find the photo you'd like to use. Then type in a title and a caption for your photo. Click on the Upload Image button. When you are satisfied with your image and captions, click on the Here link to go back to main photos page. Do this same process for all five photos. When that is complete, click on the Images OK, View My Tour button to see how it will be viewed by Workampers.

When you need to edit or replace any of your photos and captions, go to this photo page and click on the photo that needs to be edited or replaced.

Any employer that creates a Tour will appear in the Tour list, as long as you are an active subscriber. To see your Tour in the list with other Employers, click on the Employer Tours tab and select Employer Tour List. If you have an ad running in Workamper News magazine, we will place an icon with your ad letting readers know you have a Tour available.
